Oud Silk Mood is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2018 by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. Its top note brings together rose, chamomile and bergamot; guaiac wood and hedione hold the heart, while oud and papyrus occupy the base.

In the top note, green chamomile sits alongside sweet, fruity bergamot and honeyed, warm rose; the chamomile holds the greenness, the bergamot the sweetness.
The heart returns to smoky, balsamic guaiac wood and fresh hedione, with its jasmine: the smokiness of the guaiac and the freshness of the hedione hold two opposing characters.
Oud, incense-like and woody, and papyrus, dry and recalling old paper, occupy the base; the incense of the oud sits alongside the old paper of the papyrus.
