To create Light Blue Femme Italian Love, the house Dolce & Gabbana called upon perfumer Olivier Cresp. He drew inspiration from all the elements of Capri to imagine his formula. First, he chose lemon, as a nod to the vast citrus groves of the Sicilian region. To evoke the liveliness of sea spray, he opted for granny smith apple. Its green freshness is then carried forward by a feminine bouquet of jasmine and white rose. For a more sensual rendering, musky notes of ambrette further enliven this composition. Little by little, the whole becomes charged with a warmer, woodier heat. White musks become one with Virginia cedar, sandalwood and amber.

Light Blue Femme Italian Love also charms with its timeless style. Its bottle features clean, bold lines. Rectangular in shape, it is now tinted azure blue, a perfect echo of the depths of the Mediterranean Sea surrounding Capri. White is also present. Stripes likewise adorn its packaging, echoing the many parasols and sun loungers found in the coves of Capri. The change of scenery is immediate.
