Legend Eau de Parfum

A new Legend appears at Montblanc. Always in step with its time, the house of Montblanc has managed to evolve with the decades, venturing into new creative territories while preserving its unmatched taste for luxury and elegance. Thus, from writing instruments, it eventually made its way into the world of perfumery.

Since 1906, the expertise of the house of Montblanc has continued to reinvent itself. At first, the brand made a name for itself in the world of writing instruments. Then, little by little, it also made its way into the world of perfumery. In 2011, it thus gave birth to the men's Eau de Toilette Legend. In 2020, this juice reinvents itself and becomes Legend Eau de Parfum, in a much more powerful and daring concentration. Created by perfumer Olivier Pescheux, this perfume presents itself as an aromatic and woody fougère. But what about its bottle? Let us decode together the different elements found on its bottle.

An already-familiar visual, fully rooted in Montblanc's aesthetic

While Legend Eau de Parfum is indeed a new creation, its bottle, on the other hand, has an already familiar look. Indeed, its shape remains the same as that of the previous Eau de Toilette Legend. One notably finds its slightly rounded shape. Unlike most masculine perfumes, the Legend Eau de Parfum bottle does not have sharp edges. Here, the angles are softer and the feel seems almost velvety. In reality, with these elements, Montblanc is clearly referencing its emblematic Meisterstück pen. The result is a timeless virility. The heaviness of its glass, meanwhile, is the guarantee of all its refinement. Its transparent glass walls are also topped by a small black lacquered metal band, while a cylindrical cap rests on top of the whole. The Legend Eau de Parfum bottle also comes in two versions, 50 ml or 100 ml.

The presence of Montblanc's emblematic star

Another distinctive element of the house of Montblanc: its traditional star. Indeed, the brand has always been associated with a six-pointed star. But do you really know where this small element comes from? In reality, it is meant to echo the six emblematic peaks of the Mont Blanc mountain range. Quite a symbol for this brand, born in Hamburg, drawing its strength from the heart of the mountains. Here, the star appears in white on its cardboard box. It is also engraved directly into the glass, at the top of this bottle.

The new, entirely black look of Legend Eau de Parfum

Finally, if there were to be only one novelty to symbolize this bottle, it would undeniably be its new black color. This is omnipresent, except at its base, which opts for transparency. The black is meant to be both modern and timeless. Thus, thanks to it, Legend Eau de Parfum speaks to all generations of men alike. Very elegant, it seems to dress this bottle in a tuxedo, as though the Montblanc bottle had put on its Sunday best to offer us the most refined of fragrances. Finally, the Montblanc name appears in gold lettering on the cap of this perfume. In all its restraint, it adds a touch of luxury and light to the whole.
