La Petite Robe Noire by Guerlain was created in 2009 by Delphine Jelk, initially for a fairly confidential purpose. Indeed, it was only sold in Guerlain's Parisian boutique. Nevertheless, at the time, it met with great success among customers. After a few small changes, it was then marketed on a larger scale, starting in 2012. It has therefore been 10 years that its renown has remained intact. To celebrate its anniversary, Guerlain decided, in 2022, to give it more power. This is how La Petite Robe Noire Intense was born.

La Petite Robe Noire Intense is a perfume with many facets. In turn, this fragrance appears floral, fruity or sweeter. Created by the talented perfumer Thierry Wasser, La Petite Robe Noire Intense explores every aspect of feminine personality. Rich in nuance, it opens first on a refreshing and fruity blend. Raspberry mingles with bergamot, while introducing a new red fruit into this composition: blueberry. This trio gives the whole a very refreshing character, immediately capturing attention. Then, femininity takes on more scope in its floral heart. Here, rose is illuminated with orange blossom. Gradually, La Petite Robe Noire Intense becomes rounded and smooth. Its sensuality shows through in vanilla and musky base notes, enhanced with patchouli and sandalwood. As always, Guerlain chooses raw materials of the highest quality. La Petite Robe Noire Intense preserves the standout elements of its predecessors, while incorporating a few novelties. The whole gives rise to a sharper and more striking fragrance, yet still very elegant.
Guerlain gives its bottle a new bluish hue
And what about the bottle of La Petite Robe Noire Intense? While it preserves the shape of its predecessors, it takes on a new bluish hue. Why this color choice? In reality, it echoes its new raw material: blueberry. At its base, the bottle of La Petite Robe Noire Intense is dark purple. It gradually evolves toward a lighter, crystalline blue, as if blueberry juice had been poured into the bottom of this bottle and were gradually diluting. The rest of its visual preserves the main characteristics of La Petite Robe Noire. One finds notably the emblematic Guerlain cap shaped like an inverted heart, as well as the comma-shaped shoulders of the house's iconic bottle, originally designed by Serge Mansau at the beginning of the 20th century.
