Cartier has just announced the release of La Panthère Noir Absolu, a fragrance more oriental and woody than ever.

The 2014 La Panthère is a fragrance created by Mathilde Laurent. She seems to have designed a fragrance in her own image. Indeed, she is a young woman with a strong temperament whom her peers describe as rebellious and sensitive. This is exactly what the first version of this fragrance was about. Quite logically, and following such success, Cartier once again called on her to create La Panthère Noir Absolu. This fragrance revolves around three main materials. It contains gardenia, a small white flower native to China also called Cape jasmine. It is reserved exclusively for high-end feminine creations. It gives a more assertive character to floral fragrances. Also, as if to confirm this fragrance's share of prestige, Cartier has also added oud wood to the formula of La Panthère Noir Absolu. A material highly prized in the East, it is among the most expensive in the world and gives off a woody, animalic sillage. Moreover, its highly sensual aspect is here reinforced by the presence of musk. The whole thus suits an assertive and determined woman who nonetheless never lacks elegance.
