Eau de Cartier Vétiver Bleu

Where to buy
Rapidly, the house of Cartier entered the world of watchmaking with timepieces that became true icons. The company remained in the family until 1964; it is now the Richemont Group that directs it. Cartier launched into perfumery in 1981 with “Must”. In 2001, the brand presented “Eau de Cartier”, a light and pure Eau de Toilette. An enriched version with rose was unveiled in 2013 with “Eau de Cartier Goutte de Rose”, then another in 2014 with “Eau de Cartier Zeste de Soleil”. Finally in 2015, Cartier offers a new version with “Eau de Cartier Vétiver Bleu”.
A version of Eau de Cartier with raw freshness
“Eau de Cartier Vétiver Bleu” follows three limited flankers of “Eau de Cartier”, released in 2001, namely “Eau de Cartier Concentrée” in 2002, the intensity of a vegetal vivacity, then in 2013, “Eau de Cartier Goutte de Rose”, the delicacy of a rosy freshness, and finally in 2014 “Eau de Cartier Zeste de Soleil”, which conveyed the vivacity of an exotic freshness. “Vétiver Bleu” is a fragrance with multiple facets. As its name indicates, the original Eau de Cartier is here infused with vetiver, one of the most powerful and emblematic raw materials of masculine perfumery. It should be noted that it is the root of vetiver, which possesses the scent of smoky wood, that is used in fine perfumery. It provides a very thick resinous essence and delivers fine, complex effluvia.
Vetiver, the star of Eau de Cartier Vétiver Bleu
The house of Cartier chose to make vetiver, a typically masculine material, the major ingredient of this new version of “Eau de Cartier”. “Eau de Cartier Vétiver Bleu” is both fresh and raw. It combines the almost frosted vivacity of Eau de Cartier with the intensity of vetiver root from Haiti. “Eau de Cartier Vétiver Bleu” opens on the ultra invigorating notes of mint. Vetiver then takes over entirely, like a star making an entrance. It will nonetheless be paired with the woody aromas of licorice. As for the bottle, it stays in line with its predecessors. Understated, in clear glass, it reveals its sky-blue color. It rests on a base firmly anchored to the ground, and a drop of water can be seen. It appears to have been trapped in the glass, creating not only a rippling movement of the material as it falls, but above all an uncommon originality.
After three great successes in the Eau de Cartier flanker line, the brand unveils “Eau de Cartier Vétiver Bleu”. As its name indicates, it is an Eau de Toilette built around vetiver, a typically masculine ingredient. “Eau de Cartier Vétiver Bleu” is an intense and thoroughly virile essence.
