Pasha Le Parfum

Launched by Cartier in 2020, Pasha de Cartier Parfum gives the 1992 Pasha fougère a denser version, turned toward sandalwood and amber. Mathilde Laurent places sandalwood and patchouli at the top, cistus in the middle, benzoin and tonka bean in the base. The bottle keeps the gadroons and blue cabochon of the watch. Varanis Ridari sees it as a Pasha apart.

Cartier launched Pasha de Cartier Parfum in February 2020. The house made it the parfum version of its 1992 fougère, which it regards as the symbol of that family’s revival, and gave it more power, carried by sandalwood and an ambery trail.

Mathilde Laurent and the aromatic base

The fragrance is signed by Mathilde Laurent, Cartier’s in-house perfumer. According to the press kit, she kept the aromatic base of the first Pasha and enriched it with woody and ambery notes, for a deeper and more intense version than the original eau de toilette.

The press kit intends Pasha de Cartier Parfum for a man who wants to be noticed and calls it bold, brilliant and sophisticated. Its name comes from the house’s Pasha watch, several of whose codes the bottle takes up.

A line of variations

Cartier counts Pasha de Cartier among its great classics, declined in several variations around its signature. Prime Beauté mentions Édition Noire, a greener fougère of citrus, amber and cedar, and Édition Noire Sport, fresher and marine.
