La Nuit de L'Homme Bleu Électrique

La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique: the new intense and spicy fragrance from Yves Saint Laurent. A true emblem of perfumery, Yves Saint-Laurent's L'Homme launched in 2006, highlighting the natural charisma of today's men, while preserving the house's aesthetic.

Yves Saint-Laurent is a designer who was always deeply attached to the city of Paris. Indeed, that is where he spent most of his time and where he found inspiration for many of his creations. Several times, the house bearing his name has immersed us in the heart of the capital. However, since the creation of the perfume La Nuit de l'Homme, it is mainly a nocturnal Paris that is evoked, at the heart of which the man reveals his other face, more seductive and magnetic. In 2021, the story continues and the Yves Saint-Laurent saga expands with a new men's fragrance: La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique. Here is our review on the subject.

A perfume synonymous with duality

La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique by Yves Saint-Laurent is a perfume that alone brings together the different facets of man. In this composition, the house of Yves Saint-Laurent wished to highlight the two faces of the modern man. On one hand, La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique corresponds to a charismatic and ambitious businessman, as refined as he is nonchalant. On the other, it reflects the portrait of a more casual bad boy, daring to defy prohibitions and sometimes brushing against political correctness. The result is an infinitely explosive juice. With La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique by Yves Saint-Laurent, opposites attract and become one, giving rise to a true shockwave. La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique does not go unnoticed and is intended for a most mysterious seducer.

Yves Saint-Laurent selects high-quality ingredients

La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique owes its existence to one of the best perfumers of our time: the talented Dominique Ropion. He likes to say that it is an olfactory interpretation, more intense and more spicy, of the original Eau de Toilette La Nuit de l'Homme. This is felt from the top notes onward. La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique does not lack fire and immediately pairs the peppery breath of ginger with the cold and spicy character of cardamom. Its heart, meanwhile, relies more on a floral and aromatic breath of lavender and geranium. Yves Saint-Laurent leaves nothing to chance and chooses a lavender variety specifically harvested in France for the house: Diva lavender. For greater persistence and excellent longevity, La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique ends with a final breath of cedarwood.

The electrifying bottle of La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique

While the olfactory composition of La Nuit de l'Homme Bleu Electrique aims to be particularly explosive and almost disorienting, its bottle remains more within the house's standards. It has a sense of déjà vu and recalls the previous La Nuit de l'Homme Eau Electrique. In this version, its blue darkens slightly. It illuminates the rest of this glass case with an electric gradient, resembling a blue neon light in the dark night.
