A trio of talented perfumers behind an intensified composition
To create this concentrate of sensuality, Diesel chose three great perfumers, namely Jacques Cavallier, Harry Fremont and Olivier Cresp. Jacques Cavallier was born in Grasse to a father and grandfather who were both perfumers. Highly creative, Jacques Cavallier has been the official perfumer of the Louis Vuitton house since 2012. He is responsible, among others, for Cinéma by Yves Saint Laurent and Classique by Jean-Paul Gaultier. Harry Fremont was born in Cannes and managed to enter the prestigious ISIPCA school. Harry Fremont is bold and imagines timeless fragrances. He is behind numerous perfumes, such as CK One by Calvin Klein and Mon Paris by Yves Saint Laurent. Olivier Cresp has nothing to envy in terms of talent. He is described as a genius of perfumery. Indeed, he is responsible for the great success of Thierry Mugler, Angel. He also composed Place Vendôme by Boucheron and Nina by Nina Ricci.
Fuel for Life Unlimited, gourmand character, nothing but gourmand character
Between flowers, fruits and spices, the composition of Fuel for Life Unlimited is simply a small delight. Fuel for Life Unlimited opens with citrus notes of lemon and mandarin, paired with other fruits such as exotic guava and juicy pear. Originating in Central America, guava was also called sand plum by the Aztecs. The tree, the guava tree, offers aromatic leaves often used as a digestive infusion. In perfumery, guava gives off sweet, exotic, warm and green tones. Then, the heart of Fuel for Life Unlimited develops into floral notes, such as tuberose, jasmine, lily and violet, joined by the gourmand touch of licorice. The lily is the symbol of French royalty. Introduced in France in the 11th century by the Frankish kings, in reference to the Battle of Vouillé (507), the fleur-de-lis then appeared on all monuments, coinage, tapestry and more. In the language of flowers, the lily symbolizes purity and innocence. In perfumery, the lily is a mute flower, reproduced in the laboratory mainly through the headspace technique. The lily gives off floral, jasmine-like and spicy tones. Finally, the base of Fuel for Life Unlimited takes on overflowing sensuality thanks to the presence of sandalwood, labdanum cistus and cedar. The bottle echoes the main codes of its predecessor. Shaped like a flask, it here takes on an air that is not only retro but also sexy.
