Baiser Volé Essence de Parfum

This is why the house of Cartier is known as “The jeweler of Kings and the King of jewelers”... Since then, Cartier has diversified, mainly by creating perfumes that are as precious as they are innovative. In 2011, Cartier unveiled Baiser Volé, a floral-spicy fragrance built around the lily, the flower of Kings. In 2013, Cartier presented Baiser Volé, l’Essence de Parfum, more concentrated than its predecessor. The lily, still ever present, reveals a suave fragrance with spicy and powdery accents.

The unprecedented expression of a majestic flower

In 2013, Baiser Volé was built mainly around the lily, the royal and sovereign flower par excellence. It is worked in its pure exaltation. The scent of the lily is therefore particularly enhanced. With Baiser Volé, l’Essence, the lily is reproduced in its entirety, that is to say with its fresh, floral and powdery facets. Here, the lily truly offers its full personality. While its pistil is not lacking in boldness, the petals themselves are meant to be velvety. As for the stem, it reveals its crisp, green aspect. Baiser Volé, l’Essence reveals an uncontrollable passion, its charm is irresistible. The composition, oriental-spicy, nevertheless reveals another star ingredient, Bourbon vanilla.

It was Mathilde Laurent who had the difficult task of creating this little gem. She is also the one who imagined Baiser Volé. Baiser Volé, l’Essence opens on notes of Bourbon vanilla, luminous and oriental. The lily then offers its powdery petals. Then, it is the lily leaves that reveal all their secrets full of greenery. The vanilla wraps everything in its suave, sugary notes. There is no doubt that this fragrance sought to honor the lily and the vanilla in all their respective beauty. As Mathilde Laurent explains, in this essence de parfum, one senses a lily in full bloom. The open flower offers its sensual, vanilla-laden scent, while remaining alive and light. Cartier presented Baiser Volé, l’Essence two years after Baiser Volé. While more concentrated than its predecessor, Baiser Volé, l’Essence still honors the lily, the flower of Kings. It nevertheless adds vanilla to instill an oriental touch. Together, they combine to offer a fragrance that is breathtakingly joyful.
