A jasmine worked with extreme lightness
Let's start with the perfume itself. Gucci's Flora Gorgeous Jasmine was created by perfumer Alberto Morillas, a true star of the olfactory field. He chose to compose a very floral bouquet, combining two different varieties of jasmine, to achieve more depth. Flora Gorgeous Jasmine notably contains Grandiflorum jasmine and Sambac jasmine. Their poetic and feminine scent is also amplified by the addition of gardenia and Damask rose. This juice becomes more sparkling and joyful thanks to mandarin, bergamot and black pepper. It is finally wrapped in Australian sandalwood, patchouli and benzoin. Overall, Flora Gorgeous Jasmine has much in common with Flora Gorgeous Gardenia. Nevertheless, it is slightly less sweet. Very pleasant, it releases a jasmine scent that is less heavy than usual. The result is a light essence, ideal for warm days.
Gucci's timeless and highly refined bottle
As for the bottle, Flora Gorgeous Jasmine is also of great beauty! Indeed, it is revealed in an elongated case, to which no particular era could really be assigned. Although recent, it reclaims a floral motif dating back to 1966, reworked by the brilliant Alessandro Michele. The pink hue of Flora Gorgeous Gardenia has disappeared and has been replaced by a lacquered turquoise, synonymous with hope and protection. Gucci's Flora Gorgeous Jasmine also comes in a more sustainable bottle, made of recycled glass.
