Yet although each was created by renowned perfumers, they did not necessarily receive the same treatment in terms of advertising campaigns or public affection.

Thus Eau de Lacoste Blanc and Eau de Lacoste Bleu were quickly propelled to the top of sales thanks in particular to playful, modern and effective ad spots, whereas Eau de Lacoste Vert was somewhat left aside. And yet this Eau de Lacoste Vert, tailor-made to match the green polo shirt worn to relax, has plenty to seduce the man in the Lacoste polo. Nevertheless, according to specialists, the fragrance stands apart from the other perfumes in the collection by being far more original, which may be precisely what got it sidelined... A shame! Eau de Lacoste Vert: an aromatic fougère fragrance like a sporty walk through the forest

Just like its brilliant sister fragrances in the L.12.12 collection, Eau de Lacoste Vert wears a very square, very masculine bottle where the legendary Lacoste crocodile sits on the glass chest of the pretty green bottle, better matching the piqué cotton. However, while the colors of all the L.12.12 bottles have aligned on bold, glossy shades, Eau de Lacoste Vert has kept its transparent green bottle, which lets the juice show through.
From the top notes of Eau de Lacoste Vert we are surprised by a powerful and original olfactory blend built around bergamot and grapefruit notes. Verbena mingles with juicy melon and a pretty ozone note to create a sparkling, green-fruity opening for the fragrance. Then the heart takes on the aromatic power of lavender and thyme, better offering us a floral-fruity and spicy blend of violet leaf, fig and cardamom. Finally the woody, sparkling depths of cypress take on the sensuality of guaiac wood and sandalwood, better blending into a touch of marine animalic ambergris.
