Where to buy

Moreover, since 2015, L'Artisan Parfumeur has been acquired by the Spanish group Puig, which has led to some notable changes: bottle design, a new store in Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the creation of a new collection are among the novelties that L'Artisan Parfumeur has brought us. Indeed, the house is currently presenting a brand new perfume named Un Air de Bretagne.

The elegant style of L'Artisan Parfumeur's new perfume

First, let us highlight the very elegant style of L'Artisan Parfumeur's new perfume. Forget the house's bottles of old! Now, Un Air de Bretagne comes nestled in a container with a “chic apothecary” style, designed in smoked black and slightly transparent glass. Its label, meanwhile, resembles marble, on which the name of this perfume is inscribed in white capital letters. The whole is topped with a black cap and takes on a particularly refined look.

The maritime recipe of Un Air de Bretagne

As for the recipe, Un Air de Bretagne transports with a single breath to the coasts of Brittany. Its composition was created by the talented perfumer Juliette Karagueuzoglou. Naturally, it seems charged with a sea air. To create this perfume, its creator drew direct inspiration from the wild landscapes of Brittany and the force of its elements. She sought to create a fragrance akin to a breath of fresh air on skin. Thus, Un Air de Bretagne has a slightly salty quality reminiscent of salt on the lips right after a swim in the open sea. Its recipe centers on a marine accord charged with salt and lit up by a luminous accord. This comes from neroli. Thus, Un Air de Bretagne unfolds like a sunbeam warming the skin. A note of seaweed absolute also blends with an ambergris accord. The result is a realistic impression of fresh seaweed combined with a more green facet recalling the lush vegetation of this coastal region.

L'Artisan Parfumeur's Paysages collection

In fact, Un Air de Bretagne is the second perfume in L'Artisan Parfumeur's Paysages collection, launched a year earlier with the perfume Bucoliques de Provence. This fragrance was created by Fabrice Pellegrin and aims to pay tribute to the Grasse region, the world capital of perfumery since the 16th century. Reflecting the scent of the area's floral fields, this fragrance mainly combines a scent of iris and lavender. Just like Un Air de Bretagne, it delivers age-old expertise through a minimalist and naturalistic approach. L'Artisan Parfumeur seems firmly set on unveiling a new region of France every year in olfactory form. It remains to be seen where its next journey will take us…
