After graduating from the Roure perfumery school in Grasse, his native city, Antoine Maisondieu was hired at Givaudan. While he enjoys innovating and creating fragrances, Antoine Maisondieu draws his inspiration mainly from his emotions and feelings. He also draws inspiration from cinema, his other passion. When asked about his way of working, Antoine Maisondieu states: I work, I smell, until the product gives me an emotion. Armani Code Profumo, scents between elegance and sensuality
Code Profumo opens on a fruity freshness thanks to the presence of mandarin and green apple, enhanced by cardamom. Originating from the Far East, mandarin was cultivated 4,000 years ago mainly in Japan, China and Vietnam. Mandarin owes its name to the color of the silk robes worn by mandarins. Mandarin was then considered a luxurious fruit. Mandarin is low in calories, with 40 kcal per 100g. It contains 13% carbohydrates and 1.8% fiber, and is very rich in vitamin C. In perfumery, mandarin essence is obtained by expression of the fruit's peel. Mandarin gives off fruity, zesty, sweet and tangy tonalities.
