Then, in 2001, Chanel decided it was high time to modernize it. Here, in reality, this is not simply a matter of evolution. Coco Mademoiselle has its own distinct personality and no longer really draws on its predecessor. To pay tribute to Gabrielle Chanel, it only keeps her nickname. Everything else is entirely new. Here, Coco Mademoiselle leans instead toward simplicity. With clean lines, it reconciles comfort and elegance, just as Gabrielle Chanel once did with her clothing.
The chypre and fruity scent of Coco Mademoiselle
Coco Mademoiselle opens an entirely new chapter in Chanel's perfumery. With it, rigor and demand come through simplicity and purity.
