Dior and J'adore, Chloé and Chloé signature, or indeed Burberry, all sought to assert their style in perfumes that resembled them.
As for the house of Burberry, just like the house of Chloé, it chose Michel Almairac to create for it a fragrance at once modern and timeless, one that would trace, in rare scents, the folds of the famous trench coat upon the skin. Burberry Body is above all a fresh, sensual perfume that exhales a classic beauty, very “british,” thanks in particular to its opening of green absinthe, peach and freesia with pronounced green, English accents. Moreover, the precious rose of the heart is powdered with an iris that carries us on a journey through the past, through the loveliest of vintage British perfumes. Thus this English rose and its green opening notes give Burberry Body a bearing that is at once highly distinguished and as timeless as the famous trench coat.
Yet while Burberry Body exhales relatively classic, even retro notes, it remains no less brilliantly modern, thoroughly original and utterly sensual.
