Body

Burberry launched Body on September 1, 2011, in more than 150 countries. Michel Almairac composed a modern rose: green absinthe, peach and freesia at the top; rose absolute, iris and sandalwood for the heart; cashmeran, vanilla, amber and musk in the base. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, photographed by Mario Testino in a satin trench coat, was its first face.

A faceted glass bottle, long and slim, under a rose gold-colored cap embossed with the check pattern; 85 ml, made in France.

Burberry describes a faceted glass bottle, closed with a rose gold-colored cap embossed with the house’s check pattern, made in France, in 85 ml. Chant Wagner found it very long and very slim, like a bullet or a wand, impossible to mistake for any other.

The satin trench coat Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wears in the launch campaign is also rose gold. Wagner noted that the house took as much care over the bottle’s design as over the juice, and found both remarkable.
