Bonbon: Between regressive sweets and seductress temptations... Viktor Rolf had already offered delicate fragrances in their astonishing and jubilant overdosed cocktail Flowerbomb.
A pink ribbon bow molded in glass, created by the glassmakers at Pochet du Courval, inspired by the house's dresses.
The bottle takes the shape of a pink ribbon bow, compared by the perfume press to a wrapped candy. Viktor&Rolf reports that the design was inspired by the house's dresses and that it took several months to shape this bow in an intense pink hue, as if hand-pleated and directly molded in glass.
The house names the glassmakers at Pochet du Courval as the makers of the bottle. A retailer's marketing copy repeats the narrative of the bow as a symbol of Viktor&Rolf's heritage and describes a bottle sculpted with the precision of a couture garment. A retailer page, moreover, attributes the bottle design to Fabien Baron; the official website names only the glassmakers.
The sizes announced at launch were 30, 50 and 100 ml according to the perfume press, while retailers today list the Eau de Parfum in 30, 50 and 90 ml.
