Guerlain’s iconic bottle delivers a wildly feminine Baiser de Russie fragrance
Baiser de Russie by Guerlain is described as a floral, fruity and musky fragrance. It conveys a particularly feminine image, at once sparkling, radiant and full of life. It opens on a fresh, lively scent of lemon, bergamot and pine needles. Plum reinforces its fruity side, while absinthe surprises with its very first breath. Then, the heart of Baiser de Russie takes on a more feminine note of jasmine paired with cranberry. Finally, the whole is rounded off by an enveloping base of tonka bean, white musk and sandalwood. Vanilla and caramel further emphasize the gourmand character of the whole. The result is a particularly generous and deeply comforting fragrance.
In terms of design, Baiser de Russie comes in Guerlain’s emblematic “Abeilles” bottle, created in 1853 by Pierre-François Pascal Guerlain for Empress Eugénie. A true treasure belonging to Guerlain’s heritage, this bottle is set off by a lovely emerald green color. A grosgrain bow is fixed at its neck. Finally, Baiser de Russie is further enhanced by an amethyst case with a most refined leather-like touch. The whole comes in a 125 ml size.
