What the house declares

Guerlain describes a multicolored, intense bouquet: a sunset tuberose, a carnal Grasse centifolia rose and intensely powdery violet and iris accords, carried by a bold sandalwood and a velvety moss.

For its tuberose, Guerlain combines three extracts: a Grasse pomade obtained by enfleurage in vegetable butter, an absolute, and an Indian tuberose extract drawn by CO2. A fruity mango accord brings out its white flowers, partly grown in Grasse by an organic estate.

Three tiers

The house does not break this version into tiers; the perfumeries that sell it place almond, mandarin and mango accord in the top, tuberose, rose, iris and violet in the heart, sandalwood, musks and coconut in the base.

The moss the house mentions does not appear as a material: its ingredient list declares neither oakmoss nor tree moss, any more than in Florabloom Absolu. Sandalwood, for its part, does appear on the label as oil and santalol.

What the label declares

The list Guerlain publishes declares, after alcohol, fragrance and water, linalool, limonene, alpha-isomethyl ionone, methyl anthranilate, bitter orange peel oil and a UV filter, along with sandalwood (Santalum album) oil and santalol.

It also shows coumarin, benzaldehyde, isoeugenol, rose ketones, citral, vanillin, benzyl benzoate, rose oil, farnesol, geranyl acetate and geraniol, along with three colorants, a red, a violet and a yellow.
