A crystalline lily of the valley
On September 13, 2016, Patty reviewed the seven Louis Vuitton fragrances for Perfume Posse. Apogée strikes her as a gorgeous, crystalline lily of the valley; she warns that those who hate lily of the valley would do better to pass it by.
She expected the jasmine and guaiac wood to warm the flower; she finds instead a rather cold lily of the valley, which she nonetheless finds magnificent, contrary to what the list of notes promised.
A discreet collection
She judges the collection as a whole discreet, neither big nor showy, subtle and well made. She advises smelling each fragrance on its own, so as not to confuse them, but finds that they also wear very well together, two or three at a time.
