Amarige is the floral Dominique Ropion created for Givenchy in 1991, and its name is an anagram of “mariage,” the French word for marriage. Today the house describes it through three materials, gardenia, mimosa and precious woods, and links it to the shores of the Mediterranean. Its bottle, designed by Pierre Dinand, draws on the ruffled sleeves of a blouse created by Hubert de Givenchy.

Pierre Dinand designed the Amarige bottle. He drew on a blouse Hubert de Givenchy created in 1952 for his model and muse Bettina Graziani, whose sleeves were adorned with wide ruffles that give the bottle its silhouette.
The house describes a precious bottle, all curves and voluptuousness. At launch, the extrait had its own 15 ml luxury bottle, also designed by Pierre Dinand and presented in a colorfully illustrated box.
