Top notes

Bergamot opens the composition. This citrus with a fragrant zest offers here a fruity facet, a touch of sweetness and a lively freshness, qualities that explain the frequent place of its essence at the top of accords, where the most volatile materials are perceived from the very first moments.

Base notes

The base combines woods, described as soft and creamy, with a musk showing woody, animalic and warm facets. Musky materials often form a diffuse and lasting halo around the other notes, while the woods give the accord a rounded, smooth foundation.

Versace Woman belongs to the floral family, which brings together creations built around evocations of flowers. The fruity freshness of bergamot readily serves as a brightening touch for this type of accord, and the soft warmth of musk is among the classic supports of floral compositions, to which it lends an enveloping texture.

Among the declared components, limonene and citral evoke the world of citrus, echoing the bergamot. Citronellol and geraniol are found in rose essence, hydroxycitronellal recalls lily of the valley, while amyl cinnamal and hexyl cinnamal lean toward jasmine.
