Sports Car Club

Sports Car Club was launched in 2022 by Penhaligon’s as part of the Powerhouse collection. Created by perfumer Annick Ménardo, this unisex Eau de Parfum belongs to the green aromatic family and unfolds within a sporting universe, evoking the imagery of motor racing: champagne showers, checkered flags and the adrenaline of the track.

The top combines arolla pine essence with pink pepper, the latter chosen, according to the perfumer’s statement, to evoke the vibration and speed of a race car. The heart develops an accord of cypress and eucalyptus, the latter bringing a freshly cut grass facet that reinforces the green, invigorating character of the composition. The base rests on patchouli, ambroxan and musk, lending depth to the sillage.

Sports Car Club reflects Penhaligon’s approach of creating fragrances with a strong narrative and thematic identity. Its unisex green aromatic structure, carried by coniferous notes and eucalyptus, makes it a fragrance suited to sporting contexts or active days, for those who appreciate fresh, invigorating compositions with a woody, musky sillage.
