A London Dandy

A London Dandy, also sold as The Dandy, was launched in 2024 by Penhaligon’s. This unisex Eau de Parfum conjures up a world claimed by the house: that of a speakeasy at midnight, filled with cocktails, brass and bourbon. The house’s official copy evokes Whisky. Glitter. Smoke. A cocktail of mischief, shaken with cedarwood and rhythmic raspberry, summing up the festive and slightly subversive spirit of the creation.

The top combines rum and raspberry, forming a liqueur-like, fruity opening. The heart develops a dried fruits accord, to which the house adds a note of malted whisky — not represented in the official pyramid — which contributes to the boozy, smoky dimension of the composition. The base rests on cedar, oak, patchouli and amber, bringing woody depth and resinous warmth.
