Endymion is the masculine eau de cologne Penhaligon’s released in 2003, named after Endymion, the most handsome of the sons of Zeus according to the house. Where to buy

Penhaligon’s launched Endymion in 2003: Now Smell This and FashionBeans date the original fragrance, an eau de cologne for men, to that year, and the house now places it in its British Tales collection.

The name comes from Greek mythology. The house presents Endymion as the most handsome of the sons of Zeus and claims a classical elegance worthy of him; in the myth recalled by Sandra’s Closet, the goddess of the Moon plunges him into a perpetual sleep so that she can gaze upon him forever.

The house speaks of a sweet and softly masculine fragrance, blending citrus, spices and lavandin, and of a timeless eau de cologne. In 2016, Endymion Concentré offered a more intense version of it, as an eau de parfum.
