Libre Vanille Couture is a golden limited edition of Libre, released in August 2025. Yves Saint Laurent wraps French lavender and Moroccan orange blossom in a caviar of Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar, lifted by a rum absolute. The line's geometric bottle turns to gold, inside and out.
Vanille Couture keeps the floral, aromatic frame of Libre and covers it with a vanilla and liquorous accord. The house files it as an ambery floral.
What the house declares
Three declared movements. Mandarin oil, neroli oil and a heart of lavandin from Provence at the opening; Moroccan orange blossom absolute, sambac jasmine absolute and a heart of Diva lavender at the center; patchouli oil, a caviar vanilla accord and rum absolute to finish.
The orange blossom is harvested in the Ourika Community Gardens in Morocco, where the house sources for the whole line. The lavender is French, and the house calls it androgynous: that is the contrast Libre has claimed since 2019.
What the label declares
The box carries the F.I.L. code N70055512/1. Alcohol, fragrance and water open the list, ahead of a UV filter, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, and ahead of two colorants, CI 19140 and CI 15985, which give the juice its golden tint.
The rest is the allergen declaration: limonene, linalool, benzyl salicylate, hydroxycitronellal, benzyl alcohol, coumarin, geraniol, methyl anthranilate, citronellol, citral, benzyl benzoate, alpha-isomethyl ionone, cinnamal, eugenol. No lilial, no lyral.
