Libre Vanille Couture is a golden limited edition of Libre, released in August 2025. Yves Saint Laurent wraps French lavender and Moroccan orange blossom in a caviar of Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar, lifted by a rum absolute. The line's geometric bottle turns to gold, inside and out.
The geometric Libre bottle turns to textured metallic gold, inside and out, its flanks open onto the juice: the limited edition is treated as a jewel.
The Libre bottle keeps its silhouette and changes its material. Yves Saint Laurent dresses it in gold inside and out, and speaks of a precious, untamed jewel rather than a container.
Outside, the geometric silhouette is wrapped in richly textured metallic gold, which the house says is inspired by Monsieur Saint Laurent's wardrobe. The flanks stay open and let the juice show, its golden tint being part of the argument.
The format is single, 50 ml, in a limited run, where the other Libre fragrances exist in several sizes. Scarcity is sold along with the fragrance.
