Black Opium Cream Rush

Black Opium Cream Rush appeared as an announcement overnight from September 24 to 25, 2026, with a first photo and the year of release. Yves Saint Laurent has published neither a press release nor a product page, and no major perfumery lists it yet.

The target audience is not specified. The whole Black Opium line has been feminine since 2014, from the original eau de parfum to Pink Glaze, so the fragrance is listed here as feminine until the house confirms it.

In the absence of an official visual, the image on this page provisionally shows the bottle of Black Opium Pink Glaze, released earlier in 2026. It will give way to the Cream Rush bottle as soon as the house unveils it.

The Black Opium line

Black Opium was born in 2014, signed by Nathalie Lorson, Marie Salamagne, Olivier Cresp and Honorine Blanc. Yves Saint Laurent sees it as the first feminine fragrance built on coffee: a black coffee paired with jasmine, carried by a vanilla base.

In 2026, Yves Saint Laurent redesigned the eau de parfum bottle: sharper lines, a new transparency, a glitter finish and the Cassandre monogram at the center. Its messaging compares the fragrance to the first sip of an espresso, a jolt of confidence.

The word rush is not new to the line. The house already uses it for the eau de parfum, whose energy it praises, and for Black Opium Le Parfum, which it describes as an unexpected rush of four vanillas.

Recent editions have each pulled the signature toward one material: cherry for Over Red, a musky marshmallow for Glitter, strawberry for Pink Glaze, whose 2026 campaign stars the actress Alisha Boe.

What is still missing

Notes, tiers, olfactory family, concentration, sizes, perfumer, ingredient list and campaign have yet to be released. The launch date in France is also unknown, as is the fragrance’s status in the range: a pillar of the line or a limited edition.
