Trésor en Or is the perfect embodiment of femininity. And what could be more symbolic in feminine perfumery than the use of flowers? Since its first edition, Trésor has made Turkish rose its emblem. This flower, typical of women's perfumery, is present in each of Trésor's variations. Here, entirely reinterpreted by the expert hands of Dominique Ropion, it is joined by other ingredients such as sambac jasmine, more sun-kissed and opulent, and peony, fresher and clearer. In this sense, Trésor en Or is a very airy perfume that suits hot summer days perfectly. Yet it does not lack character, drawing all its sensuality from a delectable blend of musk, leather and ambrette oil. Peach, for its part, appears in the top notes of Trésor en Or, immediately displaying its addictive quality by playing on the gourmand register.

When the Lancôme bottle dresses itself in a golden glow

As if to echo its name, Trésor en Or dresses itself in a new golden glow that gives even more depth and refinement to its juice. The iconic crystal bottle of Trésor is now coated with a golden lacquer that illuminates the fragrance, states Lancôme. These golden reflections evoke the sunrise while lighting up the Parisian skyline. Indeed, Paris is truly the primary source of inspiration for this collection. Viewed from above, the Trésor bottle has the same shape as Place Vendôme seen from the sky, a place that has always been very important to the house. Trésor en Or presents itself as a jewel one would want to protect. To make it easier to hold, its inverted pyramid shape has an elegant slimness.

The other major editions of Trésor

As one might expect, the Trésor collection already boasts countless olfactory variations. Trésor Elixir de Parfum is without question one of its most oriental editions, containing honey, vanilla and vetiver. Quite different, Trésor Eau Légère is more spring-like and luminous. L'Absolu de Parfum, meanwhile, reinvents Lancôme's traditional accord by enriching it with a more amber and spicy base.
