Santorini Sunrise is the limited-edition eau de toilette that Escada launched in spring 2023, inspired by the island of Santorini. Mylène Alran and Benoist Lapouza combine a mandarin and bergamot sorbet, jasmine petals and pink pepper over an earthy base. Its bottle evokes the deep waves of the ocean, contrasted with bougainvillea flowers.
Frosted citrus, jasmine and pink pepper
The house opens Santorini Sunrise with a fresh, addictive mandarin and bergamot sorbet, extended by luminous jasmine petals and bursts of pink pepper; the base is earthy. Isabella Muse names the same citrus, the jasmine and the pink pepper.
What stays out
Bougainvillea is not a note of the composition: the house draws its flowers on the bottle. The sorbet describes the mandarin and bergamot, without a material of its own.
