Santorini Sunrise

Since 1993, the house of Escada has been delighting women around the world by crafting ephemeral fragrances designed exclusively for the summer season. Positioning itself as a trendsetter, Escada thus celebrates the arrival of sunny days and offers a foretaste of vacation. To mark the 30th anniversary of this tradition, in 2023 Escada chose to deliver to women a new concentrate of joie de vivre, straight from the Mediterranean: Santorini Sunrise.

Each year, old traditions resurface within the house of Escada, to the delight of women around the world. Indeed, since 1993, the house has enjoyed imagining ephemeral fragrances that last only for a season. These celebrate sunny days and embody carefree living and joie de vivre. In 2023, the focus is on sunshine and sea spray. This time, the scene takes place in the heart of the Cyclades. Santorini Sunrise by Escada is a fresh, sun-drenched fragrance, whose maritime inspiration resurfaces even on the bottle.

The well-known silhouette of Escada's seasonal fragrances

Santorini Sunrise by Escada immediately sets the scene and follows in the worthy lineage of its predecessors. Indeed, it has the emblematic silhouette common to all of Escada's seasonal fragrances. Its oval bottle evokes a stylized heart. Sleek and simple, it offers a perfect grip. It also comes in three different sizes, in 30, 50 or 100 ml bottles. Its cap also remains the same. It is a silvery, shimmering cylinder, delicately engraved with the Escada name at its neck.

The bluish gradient of the Santorini Sunrise bottle

As every year, the shape stays the same but the color changes. Santorini Sunrise by Escada opts for a bluish gradient. Its base, particularly clear, is almost white. Its top, meanwhile, is enhanced with a deeper blue. In reality, this coloring echoes two different elements. First, this blue evokes the color of the Aegean Sea, surrounding the island of Santorini on all sides. Then, let us recall that the villages of the Cyclades are famous the world over for their white facades crowned with blue domes. And these are exactly the two colors also found on this glass vessel. The coherence is total!

A few pink flowers to brighten this fragrance

Only one small element decorates the front of this bottle and adds a touch of additional color to it. Three small pink flowers brighten the whole. Naturally, this is a nod to the festive, summery and feminine spirit of this fragrance… But not only that! Indeed, these pink flowers recall bougainvillea. These shrubs are particularly abundant in the Cyclades. They stand in sharp contrast with the blue sky and the white facades. They appear on many postcards and are an inseparable symbol of Greece. These flowers are therefore more than consistent with the rest of this visual.

Cardboard packaging resembling a Greek village

Then, Santorini Sunrise by Escada comes in a cardboard box, itself very colorful and evocative of the island of Santorini. On it, several buildings with the emblematic architecture of the Cyclades overlap one another. They are stacked on top of each other, like the monuments lining the cliffs of Santorini. The facades and staircases are white. The doors, windows and domes glow with an iconic blue. The whole stands out against a sky streaked with sunbeams. Bougainvillea flowers enhance the whole. Santorini Sunrise by Escada is a window open onto a Greek paradise.
