Rem Eau de Toilette
Rem, a concentrate of iodine, warm sand and sun. The story of the house Réminiscence is first and foremost a love story between Nino Amaddeo and Zoé, his muse. In love with travel, they find their inspirations along the way through their encounters.

Where to buy
In 1966, Nino and Zoé founded Réminiscence and cultivated their olfactory difference in the face of the major houses. Rem is in fact an anagram of the word Mer (Sea). It is in memory of their love of the sea, but also of a stay in Saint-Barthélemy, that Nino and Zoé decided to create, in 1996, Rem.
The aquafloral fragrance of Rem
With Rem, Réminiscence established a new style of perfume blending salty and amber notes. The house describes its composition as a thrill brought by a dive into the water after sunbathing… Rem opens on very fresh notes of calone, a synthetic molecule that perfectly recreates the iodic smell of the sea. Calone is paired with jasmine and
lilac, which lends an important sense of sweetness to the composition. The heart is woody with the presence of patchouli and tonka bean. It also offers powdery and amber notes thanks to white musks and vanilla. An unprecedented and very delicate olfactory marriage, where warm sun, sea, iodine and idleness intermingle.
Rem, or the exoticism of the island of Saint-Barthélemy
The composition Rem is presented as a true ode to vacation, the sea, and warm sand. This fragrance was born from a trip to the island of Saint-Barthélemy. Arriving without sun protection, Zoé and Nino rushed to buy sunscreen, from Garnier! There, they experienced an olfactory love at first sight and thus decided to recreate this fragrance in memory of that trip, as they regularly do. The bottle is translucent, turquoise blue in color, like that of a lagoon on an exotic island. The shape of the bottle forms a sort of water droplet topped with a seaweed-shaped cap. The bottle might also bring to mind a smooth pebble, polished by the sea. Rem draws its inspiration under the tropical sun and holds within it the scent of a faraway land, a longing for elsewhere. This fragrance has managed to capture the moment when the sun lights up footsteps on the sand, the moment when wild iodine reaches its peak. Facets that oppose one another and yet define the strength of this composition.
Nino Amaddeo and his muse Zoé are used to creating, in olfactory form, what they bring back from their various travels. They like to draw their inspirations according to their trips… Rem is no exception to the rule and remains a composition transcribed faithfully after a stay in Saint-Barthélemy. While it evokes vacation, Rem holds within it secrets of warm sand, iodine and blazing sun.
