Rem Eau de Parfum, or a dive between Saint-Barthélemy and the Orient...

For the creation of Rem, Nino Amaddeo and Zoé Coste were inspired by a trip to Saint-Barthélemy. It was the Ambre Solaire, just bought at an oriental shop, that mingled with the sweet scents of sea spray and flowers on this paradise island, making their mouths water and giving birth to the lovely idea for the future composition of Rem. Released in 1996, its beach-fragrance effluvia caused a sensation. The various flankers of this fine aquatic-vanilla scent did not belie its success.

However, as devoted admirers of oriental scents such as those discovered in Patchouli, for instance, the creators of Réminiscence took up the challenge of blending Rem's marine notes with the oriental notes so cherished by the house. The result was a powerful Rem Eau de Parfum, which came into being in 2015.

It would seem that the travel notebooks sketched by Réminiscence between the Orient and the Caribbean came together for the best, offering with Rem Eau de Parfum a blend that is both thoroughly retro and utterly modern. Réminiscence's magic works its charm once again!

An oriental-marine scent for the times: Rem Eau de Parfum

For Rem Eau de Parfum, the glass pebble bottle turns a bold, deep blue, as if to affirm through color the intense effect of this version of Rem. The cap, shaped like stylized seaweed, has also taken on intense blue reflections.

Of course, Rem Eau de Parfum opens on paradise-like sun-kissed notes but does not forget to adorn itself with delicate notes of rose and white jasmine. At the heart, the citrus freshness of the sea, of which Rem is, let us recall, the anagram, is symbolized by a calone that spreads like a sea breeze through the floral top notes. Then, carried on the waves to our nostrils, come the oriental sweetness of the “reminiscade” built around sandalwood, patchouli, tonka bean and amber. Vanilla and musk bring the exotic gourmand character to this thoroughly sensual whole.

Rem comes in a more intense version: the Eau de Parfum. An Oriental signature for a more sophisticated and sensual fragrance.
