Pour un Homme Sport

Pour un Homme Sport by Caron, the sport version of the prestigious Ernest Daltroff, who founded the house Caron in 1902 with the help of his brother Raoul. At the time, it was only a haberdashery-perfumery called the house Emilia. From the outset, the house Caron dedicated itself solely to perfumes.

In 1934, Caron presented Pour un Homme. A daring bet for an unprecedented masculine fragrance. Composed around lavender, Ernest Daltroff's favorite raw material, and vanilla, the composition surprised, but seduced. 80 years later, Pour un Homme has become a timeless fragrance, an iconic perfume. Building on this success, the house Caron presented Pour un Homme Sport in 2015… A fresh and unexpected interpretation.

Pour un Homme Sport by Caron, a modern revisit

In order to revisit the legend in a contemporary sport version, the house Caron used no fewer than 37 raw materials sourced from 10 different countries. The aromatic signature of Pour un Homme is enriched here with citrus, woody and spicy notes. Pour un Homme Sport is a prelude to today's dynamic man. This composition owes its prestige to the number and the extreme quality of its raw materials. The house Caron is recognized as an expert in craftsmanship and boldness. Caron is also a member of the Comité Colbert, which today brings together 75 luxury houses. These share values essential to perfumery such as tradition, modernity and craftsmanship. Inspired by a legend, Pour un Homme Sport is a fragrance for simple and dynamic men, an ultra-modern fragrance.

The harmony of the notes of Pour un Homme Sport

Pour un Homme Sport brings a breath of freshness to its predecessor, giving it a touch of modernity. The opening of Pour un Homme Sport is ultra fresh with citrus notes such as grapefruit and green mandarin from Italy. These blend with verbena from India and green lavender absolute. The heart is spicy with the presence of blue ginger from Madagascar, nutmeg from Indonesia and cedarwood from Virginia. The base combines notably tonka bean, benzoin from Siam, white musks and natural ambergris, which gives the whole a warm sweetness and a delicate sensuality. As for the bottle, it follows the same broad lines as its predecessor. Opaque and transparent, it still reveals its green-colored juice, topped with a silver-toned metal cap. Understated and masculine, it simply carries on the codes of the house Caron.

80 years after the success of the timeless Pour un Homme, Caron decided to revisit it in order to give it a touch of modernity. Pour un Homme Sport nonetheless retains the key notes of its predecessor, especially lavender, pairing it with woody, aromatic and spicy fragrances. Pour un Homme Sport draws on the quality and craftsmanship of the house Caron, while remaining ultra modern.
