Pour Un Homme Renaissance

In 2026 Caron introduced Pour Un Homme Renaissance, a masculine eau de parfum that joins the line born in 1934 with Pour Un Homme de Caron. It comes in 75 and 125 milliliter bottles, and Caron classes it among its aromatic fragrances.

An idea of the European Renaissance

Olivia de Rothschild, Caron’s artistic director, ties the fragrance to the idea of a passage, which she describes as “a return to what is essential.” She says she wanted to give it a new energy and to take part in a creative momentum in Europe, the fragrance carrying the idea of contributing and creating.

She sees the European Renaissance as a time when curiosity, beauty, craftsmanship, science and the arts entered into dialogue with exceptional intensity. From it the house draws the image of a man who is both elevated and anchored, whom it calls “warmly distant.”

Lavender as a common thread

The house makes lavender the signature that links Renaissance to the 1934 original. Here it is a fine lavender from the Drôme provençale, from the Orpur range, paired with an enriched clary sage of French origin. Caron does not disclose the name of the perfumer.
