Jimmy Choo Man

Jimmy Choo Man is the first men's fragrance from Jimmy Choo, launched in 2014 and composed by Anne Flipo. The London shoe house entrusted it to the face of Kit Harington, photographed by Peter Lindbergh. The Eau de Toilette, aromatic and woody, opens on lavender, mandarin and melon, moves through pink pepper and geranium, and settles on patchouli, suede and amber woods.

Where to buy

Jimmy Choo, a London house founded in 1996 around the shoes of Jimmy Choo and Tamara Mellon, waited until 2014 to sign its first men's fragrance. The brand announced Man in the spring and put it on sale in September, first in its Dover Street boutique and at Harvey Nichols.

Its creative director Sandra Choi chose the British actor Kit Harington, known for Game of Thrones, as the face of the fragrance and of the men's campaign for fall 2014. Peter Lindbergh photographed him in a John Lautner house in Los Angeles.

The house describes the Jimmy Choo man as a man with a strong sense of style, self-assured and with a slightly rebellious elegance. Anne Flipo, its perfumer, summed up the house's universe as the union of noble materials and a sensual luxury.

The square bottle, with architectural lines, is inspired by an antique flask; the box takes up an embossed crocodile leather, printed in brushed matte silver. Man has since given rise to an entire lineage: Man Intense, Man Ice, Man Blue, Man Aqua and Man Extreme.
