Pour un Homme de Caron Parfum

Where to buy
These fragrances travel through the decades and stand as historical testimonies. Among the most legendary juices of the last century, Caron created the fragrance Pour un Homme in 1934. Also, as if to modernize it and write a new chapter in its history, the house chose to create a new version of it. Focus on the latest Pour un Homme Parfum.
An iconic perfume from the house of Caron
Pour un Homme is a classic and timeless perfume that celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2014. Created by Ernest Daltroff, it caused genuine astonishment upon its first release. Indeed, when it was created, masculine perfumery as we know it today did not yet exist. Men only wore traditional Eaux de Cologne, fresh juices with very limited longevity. The house of Caron therefore decided to craft a perfume in the true sense, made to enhance the natural elegance of men and offering greater longevity. The formula for this perfume proposed a fairly simple blend but achieved a very harmonious result. This juice was built notably on a contrast between aromatic notes of lavender and the more ambery sweetness of vanilla. Likewise, for added seduction, the whole composition rested on a musk base. Today, this juice is one of the best-selling from the house of Caron. As an aside, celebrities such as James Dean, Serge Gainsbourg, and François Mitterrand were fervent devotees of this fragrance.
The formula of Pour un Homme Parfum
In reality, Pour un Homme Parfum is not truly the only reinterpretation of Caron's original perfume. From 1934 to 2005, this juice was never imitated or transformed. However, in 2005, Caron called on Richard Fraysse to intensify its natural scent. This was accomplished with the creation of the perfume Impact. Later, in 2014, a Millésime perfume was created to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Pour un Homme. A year later, in 2015, it was also released in a Sport version. So what about this new Pour un Homme Parfum? In reality, it is the identical version of the 2005 Impact perfume. Its ingredients are exactly the same and its concentration has also remained unchanged. Thus, Pour un Homme Parfum is still composed of lavender, vanilla, amber, and musk. Only its bottle and its name have been transformed to once again spark consumer interest. This little sleight of hand from the Caron brand this time offers a bottle smoked in black and green. The whole is presented in an imposing and highly masculine glass silhouette. Finally, the ensemble is enhanced with a metal plate perfectly matched to its cap, giving the whole a more modern feel.
