The passing years leave indelible marks on men and women. This contributes to giving them more charm and character. It is precisely this that is found at the heart of certain perfumes.
Pour un Homme managed to leave its mark on modern perfumery by offering gentlemen, starting in 1934, a true perfume. Lavender and other aromatic powers blended with bold notes of vanilla formed the cocktail of this perfume, which would quickly become a bestseller in perfumery. It would take until 2014 to discover its first flanker and 2017 to finally access the full extent of its powers with Pour un Homme Parfum, developed by Richard Fraysse and William Fraysse, the two in-house perfumers of Caron.
Pour un Homme Parfum, or the rebirth of a legend by two in-house perfumers of the house of Caron…
While the magnificent Pour un Homme from the perfume house Caron, composed by Ernest Daltroff, defined the house's finest hours since 1934, nearly a century later almost nothing has changed. The aura of the magnificent lavender-vanilla-tonka bean accords of Pour un Homme remains and, better still, renews itself.
Indeed, several flankers of Pour un Homme have emerged since the arrival of the talented perfumer Richard Fraysse in 1998. It was first intensified with Impact in 2005, but above all, after a Millésime perfume was released, it was reissued in a Sport version in 2014… by the son of Richard Fraysse! For the Fraysse family is a rare family of perfumers, from father to son. If André Fraysse created Arpège for Lanvin, Richard Fraysse composed magnificent juices for the house of Caron, and now it is William Fraysse's turn to present his perfumed works as the in-house perfumer of the house of Caron.
Thus in 2016, it was indeed the son of the house's former in-house nose who composed Pour un Homme Sport. It was also William Fraysse who directed the new formulation of Impact, his father's work, to create Pour un Homme Le Parfum in 2017.
Pour un Homme Le Parfum is thus part of a dense historical and family lineage in which the transmission of scents appears as one of the flagship values.
The talent of its creator [the creator of Pour un Homme] highlights two powerful words: Modernism and heritage. Words that convey the very essence of the house of Caron. Caron.
A powerful Impact, Pour un Homme by Caron the Parfum with explosive lavender
With Impact, Richard Fraysse wanted to compose a perfume that would exude the most explosive scents of the venerable Pour un Homme. William Fraysse reworked his father's composition to achieve a refined juice, still just as elegant, which would now appear under the name Pour un Homme Le Parfum.
The young in-house perfumer of the house clearly chose to bring forward the flagship accords of Pour un Homme right from the opening of this powerful juice. Thus the floral power of Pour un Homme Le Parfum literally bursts upon the senses in an amber and vanilla cloud of exquisite gourmand character.
In the Parfum, the amber and vanilla notes, blended with the freshness of the finest Lavenders of Haute Provence signature of Pour un Homme, explode and emerge more quickly. Caron for Pour un Homme Le Parfum.
