Jean-Louis Sieuzac is not a perfumer who likes to dwell on his life and his career. Nevertheless, it is known that he began his career at the company Roure, which has since become Givaudan. This is a Swiss company specializing in perfumes, flavors, and active cosmetic ingredients. In 2008, it became the largest company in the perfume and flavor industry. This allowed Jean-Louis Sieuzac to be put in contact with the greatest perfumers and to create cult fragrances for them. That said, this did not stop him from wanting to venture toward new horizons, and he subsequently joined the company Florasynth, which has since become Symrise. This time, it was a German company of similarly considerable scale.

Jean-Louis Sieuzac has several exceptional perfumes to his name. Among others, he is responsible for Bel Ami by Hermès, Dune by Dior, Fahrenheit by Dior, and Opium by Yves Saint-Laurent. He has also collaborated with the perfumers Shiseido, Oscar de la Renta, and Eden Classic.
