Rose Tentation

Réminiscence describes a fruity opening of lychee, a bouquet of Centifolia and Damascena roses, and a base of patchouli steeped in vanilla. Cedar completes that base and gives it the woody grain that stretches the longevity.

The rose in two varieties

Lychee gives the first burst, fruity and tart, before the roses take over. The Centifolia, known as the May rose, brings a honeyed roundness; the Damascena, from Bulgarian and Turkish fields, a more wine-like and spicy facet.

Patchouli held in the base

Patchouli occupies the base with vanilla and cedar. The essence chosen by the house sets aside the earthiest accents of the plant to keep only its clarity, which leaves the rose legible to the end of the sillage.

The 2016 version was presented with rose oxide and a breath of musk, two materials the brand no longer details in its current description. The juice itself is given as identical since the change of name.

What the label declares

The list the house prints on the box stays short: alcohol, fragrance, water, three UV filters, and four regulated allergens—citronellol, geraniol, eugenol, farnesol. Those four are the expected markers of a rose paired with a patchouli.
