Ôff Now

Ôff Now: the do-not-disturb parenthesis signed Lancôme The zen chapter of Le Monde des Ô After the legendary launch of Ô de Lancôme in 1969, the house returns in 2025 with a sensory trilogy called Le Monde des Ô. Each opus targets a specific emotion: Ô Ver The Top for adrenaline, Ô Zenith for sun-kissed optimism and Ôff Now for absolute relaxation. Conceived as an olfactory pause button, this eau de toilette promises to disconnect mentally in one spritz.

Bottle: the lavender pebble that puts our senses on pause From the historic pebble to the zen droplet A direct heir to the iconic pebble bottle of Ô de Lancôme, the Ôff Now container keeps its aquatic profile but stretches 1.2 mm upward: the goal is to mimic a water droplet at the precise moment it slows down just before landing—a visual metaphor for the standby mode the fragrance advocates.

“Lavender fade” palette

The glass takes on a lavender-gray gradient: dense pastel mauve at the base (evoking a meditative dusk) then translucent at the neck, as if light were filtering through a relaxing incense mist. Under a warm bulb, the shade takes on pinkish reflections recalling the formula’s lemony verbena.

Materials & eco-design

Glass lightened with 20% recycled content

The bottle incorporates 20% post-consumer cullet, reducing melting energy and transported mass by 15%. The base remains thickened; an internal “core” recenters the weight and avoids the “hollow bottle” feeling.

Soft-touch “zen cushion” cap

The white cap uses a surlyn polymer coated with a soft-touch finish: this way, even fingers still damp after a shower do not slip. Six micro-ridges inspired by a verbena flower improve grip and echo the fragrance’s essential aromatic facet.

Unscrewable pump & drop-in refill

True to Lancôme’s CSR DNA, the pump unlocks in two turns; the flexible 100 ml refill—single-material PET—slots in by gravity then clips into place without a funnel. Two refill cycles cut virgin plastic use in half and extend the bottle’s lifespan.

Ergonomics & sensory experience

The “anti-stress pebble” grip

The polished edges invite rolling the bottle between the fingers like a meditation stone; the flat side naturally serves as a thumb rest, securing the gesture when spraying with eyes closed before falling asleep.

Soothing plays of light

Placed on a nightstand near a dimmable lamp, the bottle casts a lilac halo on the walls; the color gradually fades as the light dims, turning the room into a chromotherapy cocoon.

Invisible but decisive details

Polished “skin-mirror” interior

The inside of the glass is finished by micro-polishing, which creates a soft mirror effect and reflects the translucent liquid: it seems to float, ready to suspend time.

Reversible silicone seal

To withstand the creamy density of the sustainable Australian sandalwood used in the formula, the pump seal uses a pharmaceutical-grade silicone, tested for 10,000 cycles without loss of tightness.

Secondary packaging: “sleep mode” minimalism

The FSC box features horizontal ridges evoking box breathing. Printed with light mauve water-soluble inks, it dispenses with UV varnish. Inside: a molded cellulose cradle—latex-free—protects the pebble during transport and composts in 45 days.
