Nina Eau de Parfum

Nina Ricci describes a woody gourmand floral that puts an ultra-creamy pistachio in the spotlight. The house wants it gourmand without too much sugar, and says it is made to be worn according to mood rather than season.

Pistachio and gardenia

At the top, a tangy bergamot jelly, which the house likens to a citrus candy, accompanies a juicy pear. In the heart, pistachio cream dominates, paired with a bouquet of gardenias with a luminous, velvety softness. In the base, a caramelized vanilla and sandalwood bring warmth and softness.

The notes are arranged here as follows: bergamot and pear at the top; pistachio and gardenia in the heart; vanilla and sandalwood in the base. The house adds that the formula contains upcycled Italian lemon, which it regards as the signature note of the Nina collection.

What the label declares

Denatured alcohol, fragrance and water open the list, ahead of a woody amber molecule and vanillin. The first ranks also name limonene, lemon peel oil, Virginia cedarwood oil, coumarin, hydroxycitronellal and a UV filter.

Further down come bergamot, orange, patchouli, orange blossom and cinnamon bark oils, anethole, rose ketones and a musky lactone. Two colorants, one red, the other violet, close the list.
