Rare Beginnings

Rare Beginnings is the second eau de parfum from Rare Beauty, the makeup brand founded by Selena Gomez. It goes on sale at Sephora on August 7, 2026, in a 50 ml bottle and a 10 ml travel spray.

After Rare

Rare Beauty launched its first fragrance, Rare, in 2025: a gourmand of caramel, pistachio and vanilla. Rare Beginnings moves away from it toward a fruity floral, led by pear and gardenia.

The Spirit of New Beginnings

Selena Gomez says she sees each day as a new opportunity, with something beautiful always ahead. She wanted the fragrance to capture that feeling of possibility, bright and sweet, which the house places under the sign of new beginnings.

To Wear Alone or Layered

Two scented balms, Fruity Pear and Sweet Marshmallow, accompany the eau de parfum. Rare Beauty offers them for layering according to the mood of the moment. It also donates 1% of its annual sales to the Rare Impact Fund.
