Perfect is an eau de parfum for women launched by Marc Jacobs in July 2020 and composed by Domitille Michalon-Bertier of IFF. Inspired by the motto “I am perfect as I am,” which the designer has tattooed on his wrist, this floral opens on rhubarb and narcissus, sets a heart of almond milk and rests on cashmeran and cedar.

Rhubarb and narcissus open the composition. The house describes a tangy, juicy, mouth-watering rhubarb blended with the sunny, floral tones of narcissus: a sparkling facet that contrasts with the softness of the layers that follow.
Heart
Almond milk makes up the heart. Its creamy, soft texture tempers the floral and fruity accord of the opening and gives the perfume the comforting softness the house puts forward.
Base
Cashmeran and cedar form the base. The house sees a soft, muted drydown: cashmeran, a synthetic material with woody and musky facets, and cedarwood soften the whole without dimming its brightness.
A fruity floral
Perfect belongs to the florals, with a fruity facet carried by rhubarb. The house speaks of a harmonious clash between the freshness of the flowers and the calm of creamy accords, which almond milk and cashmeran extend all the way to the base.
