Lost Cherry joined Tom Ford’s Private Blend collection in 2018, composed by Louise Turner, a perfumer at Givaudan. The house sets the sugary gleam of a black cherry steeped in its liqueur, lifted by bitter almond, against the darker flesh of Turkish rose, Sambac jasmine, Peru balsam and roasted tonka bean, over a base of sandalwood, vetiver and cedar.
The cherry-red version of the Private Blend bottle, with a pale pink plaque, in 30, 50 and 100 ml and as a travel spray.
Lost Cherry takes up the Private Blend collection’s bottle in a deep cherry-red version, adorned with a pale pink plaque. Tom Ford says this red conveys the fragrance’s duality, at once sweet and dark.
The house describes the 50 ml bottle as an extravagant monument on a dressing table. The fragrance is also sold in 30 and 100 ml, as a 10 ml travel spray and in a set pairing the 50 ml with this travel size.
