Indeed, the house of Prada first released its now very famous Infusion d'Iris, then Infusion de Fleur d'Oranger, as limited editions with little to no advertising campaign.

Conceptually, releasing a fragrance, whatever it may be, without communication seems utterly suicidal. That would be to forget the genius of the creator Miuccia Prada and her exceptional nose Daniela Andrier! By turning the first two Infusions Prada into niche fragrances, fragrances that exalt beauty and exceptional raw materials, they simply created a treasure!

The secret of these compositions [The Infusions de Prada], which nonetheless bear the names of ingredients, is not so much what they smell of but how they smell. Rather than shouting like most fragrances today, they whisper, states a devotee of the infusions to journalists at Le Figaro Madame.
