It was as a family that Isabelle and Hubert d'Ornano decided to create their own high-end cosmetics brand, in 1976. Then, little by little, Sisley rose to the highest spheres of the global luxury industry, also earning a place among top-tier perfumers. In 2023, the Sisley collection is enriched with an assortment of six new unisex fragrances: the Eaux Rêvées de Sisley. Among them, one fragrance is specifically dedicated to the founder of the house: L'Eau Rêvée d'Hubert de Sisley.
In 2023, Sisley develops a new fragrance collection, bringing together six unisex fragrances, dedicated as much to women as to men. All these fragrances, known as the Eaux Rêvées de Sisley, echo a person, a memory or an intimate anecdote of the d'Ornano family, founders of the house. This is how L'Eau Rêvée d'Hubert de Sisley came into being, as a tribute to Hubert d'Ornano. Olfactorily, it is a fragrance built around geranium, combining vivid freshness with more woody notes. But what about its bottle?

To design the bottle of L'Eau Rêvée d'Hubert de Sisley, the brand chose to work with a Polish sculptor, in tribute to Hubert d'Ornano's origins. What is more, between Bronislaw Krzysztof and Sisley, it is a long-standing story… Indeed, the designer can boast of having crafted bottles and caps for the house many times. For the Eaux Rêvées de Sisley, he envisioned a very minimalist, transparent case. This cylinder is simply decorated with a white label. Its cap, on the other hand, is far more sculptural. Asymmetrical and translucent, it resembles an imposing, rawer block of ice. L'Eau Rêvée d'Hubert de Sisley comes in sizes of 50 or 100 ml.
Each Eau Rêvée de Sisley has its own specific color
All the fragrances in the Eaux Rêvées de Sisley collection come in the same bottle. Only one small element allows them to be told apart: a small fabric tie is fixed at the neck, in a different color for each fragrance. For L'Eau Rêvée d'Hubert de Sisley, it is black. This should not be seen as carrying any sad or melancholic connotation. In reality, it is rather meant to evoke the timeless aspect and the restraint of this shade. In the world of luxury and fashion, black is a mark of elegance. It is therefore this same refinement that is also linked to the personality of Hubert d'Ornano.

To enhance the cardboard box of its fragrance, Sisley called upon another Polish artist: painter Elzbieta Radziwill. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, she has already collaborated several times with Sisley, notably since the opening of its Paris boutique in 2017. For L'Eau Rêvée d'Hubert de Sisley, her brushes bring color to the packaging. The result is an assortment of several pastel and joyful shades, all inspired by nature.
A more responsible bottle
Finally, know also that L'Eau Rêvée d'Hubert comes in a more responsible bottle. Affirming Sisley's commitments to environmental protection, it is recyclable. It is manufactured in France. Its cardboard box is made of Canson paper. Its glass, meanwhile, contains recycled materials.
