Indeed, with this collection, Berdoues wanted to pay tribute to Haute Parfumerie, to its authentic craftsmanship and to a traditionally French art. Indeed, the house of Berdoues has been creating exceptional fragrances for more than 100 years. A true pioneer in the field of Colognes, it is to this type of product that it has now chosen to devote an entire olfactory line. However, do not think that these are aging fragrances. Maasaï Mara, an African journey

As the name Maasaï Mara suggests, Berdoues offers here a remarkable journey to the heart of a distant land. Furthermore, for those not well-versed in geography, the Maasaï Mara is the name of the national reserve located in southwestern Kenya, bordering Tanzania. Furthermore, the traditional African tribes are called the Maasai, and the river running through this reserve is none other than the Mara. Maasaï Mara is therefore a fragrance charged with animalic character, a genuine gateway to the vast expanses of the savanna. Furthermore, it has a visual identity that speaks volumes about its African roots. Its rectangular bottle, typical of Berdoues's Collection des Grands Crus, is thus covered with a pattern resembling African fabric. The whole then contains a unisex aromatic scent suited equally to men and women. It opens with green notes of ivy before evolving toward a more floral heart. The latter revolves in particular around the scent of Agathosma, a creeping plant commonly used in Africa as a remedy. Finally, the whole concludes with the more enveloping power of coffee.
