L'Eau Rêvée d'Alma
Perfumery is an art with the gift of taking us on a journey, both in space and in time. Indeed, enveloping sillages lead us to discover other territories, while sometimes evoking memories. This is precisely the blend found in Sisley's Eaux Rêvées. This olfactory collection immerses us in the intimacy of the d'Ornano family, founders of Sisley. It is from this line of perfumes that L'Eau Rêvée d'Alma notably originates.

Where to buy
Who is Alma?
Naturally, upon seeing this perfume, an idea instantly comes to mind: who is Alma? Why did Sisley choose to dedicate a perfume to her? To find out, one need only delve into the family tree of the d'Ornano family. As a reminder, the house was founded in 1976 by Isabelle and Hubert d'Ornano. Together, they had five children. Two of them currently lead Sisley. Philippe serves as chief executive officer while Christine is his deputy. The latter herself has three daughters, one of whom is Alma. She is thus the granddaughter of Isabelle and Hubert d'Ornano.
Sisley's Eaux Rêvées collection
In fact, each of Sisley's Eaux Rêvées evokes a memory, a loved one or an anecdote from the d'Ornano family. As one might expect, L'Eau Rêvée d'Alma by Sisley is no exception to this tradition. The result is a nod to the family history of this house. From this emerges a scent filled with emotion, displaying genuine sensitivity, both in its evocation and in the effect it leaves on skin. L'Eau Rêvée d'Alma by Sisley evokes weekends spent in the countryside, at the d'Ornano family home.
The fresh, crystalline iris of L'Eau Rêvée d'Alma by Sisley
To create this perfume, Sisley drew on one of the noblest flowers in the perfumer's entire palette: iris. It is particularly renowned in the world of scent for its powdery, floral and retro character. Moreover, iris is paired here with two other flowers: rose and jasmine. At first, this trio is accompanied by an intense, spicy and aromatic freshness. This results from a combination of bergamot, cardamom and basil. Then, little by little, L'Eau Rêvée d'Alma by Sisley darkens. Its sillage becomes woodier, combining vetiver, patchouli and cedar.
Sisley's minimalist, understated bottle
L'Eau Rêvée d'Alma by Sisley comes in a bottle common to the entire Eaux Rêvées collection. It owes its existence to sculptor Bronislaw Krzysztof. It is a transparent glass cylinder topped with a cap resembling a raw block of ice. Its neck, meanwhile, is decorated with a green fabric tie. This is the only element that distinguishes it from the other Eaux Rêvées by Sisley. The whole is presented in cardboard packaging decorated by painter Elzbieta Radziwill.
